Eleanor Ridonia Reese who was born in
Lanett, Alabama on
September 4, 1933 and passed away in Los Angeles, California on
November 28, 2017. You will live forever in our memories and hearts.
Eleanor went home to be with the Lord at Good Samaritan Hospital at 3 PM on Tuesday the twenty eighth day of November in the year of our Lord Two Thousand Seventeen. Eleanor is predeceased by her son, Jeffrey S. Reese.
Eleanor is lovingly remembered by her sons Walter S. Dyer III, of Bowie Maryland; Gregory W. Dyer of Indianapolis, Indiana; Joe N. Reese of Columbia Maryland and her daughter, Dionne M. Reese of Los Angeles, California and by her grandchildren, Walter S Dyer IV, William S. Dyer, Rachel O. Stroy, Mikala Reese, Joe N. Reese Jr. Jude Reese, and Lila Reese as well as by her sisiters Mrs. Amanda Jackson of Washington, DC , Mrs. Elizabeth Gilmore of Holly Hill, South Carolina, and Mrs. Frances Mitchell of Florence, Alabama.
Eleanor, also known as 'Lena' graduated from high school in 1948 and enjoyed reading, writing and prayer.
